Scott Brown takes Massachusetts!

I would like to extend my congratulations to Scott Brown for doing something that has not been done in about 60 years. Take the Kennedy Seat in the senate. This was a gigantic step in showing Washington that we are not happy with what they are doing. I hope this stand is first in many to come.

So to Scott Brown, Congratulations! To Massachusetts, Congratulations! To the rest of the country, Let’s continue to push this message home!

Earthquake in Haiti

In the wake of the terrible disaster which happened in Haiti a short time ago, I wish to express my sadness for the families who have lost loved ones. My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families, but hopefully in the months to come the World Community can help rebuild and bring this country into a glorious phase of rebirth.

Health Care Bill

Today the procedural vote, to vote on the Health Care Bill, passed. The health care bill will pass more then likely pass tomorrow when the vote on Christmas Eve. Why are they voting on Christmas Eve you may ask, so that you, the people, wont be out to protest. It could still not pass but that is unlikely.

Tomorrow I will have a much more detailed post for you on this History and Constitutionally destructive bill.

President Obama’s Climate Speech

President Obama went to Copenhagen and gave a speech about the worlds “Climate Crisis” and spoke of how it “..is not fiction, it is science.” Unfortunately this could not be further from the truth.

The emails that had been leaked from the top research body on the subject talking about how the data had to be adjusted, some points removed, and to suppress descenting opinion, tell a very broad story of how this is indeed fiction.

Al Gore recently said that a scientist told him that the Northern Ice Sheets would be gone within 5 years. The same scientist said after Al Gore’s speech that he said in the MOST EXTREME case it could happen in a span 5 years, but that he did not say it would happen in the next 5 years.

This Copenhagen Treaty is as economically destructive as the Kyoto Treaty would have been, had we signed it. Even President Clinton thought that was a bad idea. This will have more of an impact on our economy then the Health Care Reform Bill ever could, and will cost trillions to comply with. Not to mention this is a Supra National Treaty which will give an international body total control of enforcement over The United States, ultimately canceling our sovereignty out entirely.

This treaty will not be good for our country in the long term and will ultimately make a more important issue, our economic struggle, much worse.

Wasserman-Schultz: “The Republicans… have for the first time politicized breast cancer,”

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) has attacked the Republicans once again. This time for, what she claims, is the Republicans using the new Rationed Breast Cancer checkup guide lines, to push their own thoughts on the Health Care Bill. If you haven’t heard a preventive medicine task force recommended last week that women not necessarily get mammograms before age 50, and even then get them only two years, according to The Hill.

Wasserman blames the difference in interpretation on “The task force language in that bill actually makes sure that prevention services like mammograms and colonoscopies would be free.”

Yes, it makes the the checkups free, but it also increases the lack of detection. Many woman under the age of 50 have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer, and many have gone in one year and been clear to find out the following year that they now have it. This IS the first step to health care rationing. Just because it will set it up so a mammogram is free does not mean that later date of having one preformed is a good idea!

You would think that as a surviver of breast cancer herself, that she would be more compassionate and sensitive to this particular topic, I guess this just proves that she is nothing more then a rank and file Democrat, that will do WHATEVER IT TAKES to pass their agenda.

Fort Hood Tragedy

After what happened yesterday at Fort Hood, I had no adequate words to describe how I felt. Today, I still have no way to honestly express how I feel. This is a horrible tragedy that no one should ever have to face. My heart goes out to the victims and their families. My thoughts are with them during this horrible time.
