So the Democrats are advocating Sleep Deprivation as tactic to get what the want from the Republicans? Didn’t they have a problem with this when it was being done to terrorists?

President Obama has decided to write the health care bill, in an effort to circumvent a filibuster.

First, this just shows, that the President, does not care about what the people want. The filibuster rule is in place to help stop things that the American people do not agree with. The officials in the House and Senate, where elected to do a job, and give the people of their districts/states, what they feel is important to them. By going around this the President is blatantly telling the people of this great country that his agenda is more important to him then what the people, that put him in office, actually want to happen in this country.

Second, should he not be focusing on more important issues? I am sure as the President of The United States of America, he should be a very busy man, but instead of focusing on issues and doing what he should be, he is doing the job the House and Senate should be doing and completely bypassing their Constitutional given power.

We need a change. For the good of this Nation, and this Nation’s future, help me give the people back their voice!

I think this is a great idea, if it is open to the public to have them come in and ask questions, without having the questions pre-screened, so that the people on the stage must give honest answers, with a minimum of political double talk.

Not too long ago, I had someone post a question to me, asking my position on gay rights.

This is a State issue, not one that the Federal Government has Constitutional power to rule on.

With that being said, every human, across the world, has an inalienable right to Life, Liberty, and Happiness. What makes a person happy, truly happy, should not be infringed on by government rule.

A person, no matter what sexuality, is no different then any other person. To say they are would be shattering everything that has been worked for in this country. The Gay Rights movement, is no different then the Feminist Movement, or the Civil Rights Movement. Race and Gender have been replaced by sexuality.

It is not an issue of morality, but rather an issue of intolerance. Something that needs to be moved past.

President Obama is blaming the Republicans for not approving some 200 nominations with in the White House.

“I respect the Senate’s role to advise and consent, but for months, qualified, non-controversial nominees for critical positions in government — often positions related to our national security — have been held up despite having overwhelming support,” Obama said in a news conference Tuesday.

“That’s not advise and consent. That’s delay and obstruct,” he said, warning that if the Senate “does not act to confirm these nominees, I will consider making several recess appointments during the upcoming recess.”

-FoxNEWS.com

Is it not possible that the delay could be from the constant pushing by Obama to get things through the Senate, such as health care bills, that has kept the “minority” and the Senate as a whole, rather busy. Is it also not possible that the Republicans are playing the partisan game and not doing what they need too. Either way is it really necessary to come out and say this and point the finger? The blame game needs to stop, because up there in DC they are all at fault. Both sides of the aisle are equal in this blame, that let it go on and have back each other up for too long.

This is not high school politics, you are not class president, you are the Leader of the Free World, show some self respect, and get it taken care of, but the people really don’t need to know who you think is at fault.

This is a step in the right direction, one would suppose, but the problem is that the Republicans, if they are going to negotiate, are turning their backs on what the American People are asking want.

There is no longer a bipartisan system, there is one great big party just trying to line there pockets. This is, unfortunately, a very disparaging act. No wonder people say they voted for the lesser of two evils.

Last night The State of the Union Address was given.

First and foremost, this was not a State of the Union, but rather the State of the Obama Administration address.

President Obama’s focus was on the government creating jobs. This is not a role the federal government is supposed to play. It is their role to make it so small businesses can deliver goods and services to the public, thereby, creating a demand, and thus jobs.

There was a lot of talk about spending, and over spending, and even a spending freeze, but one that would allow over spending to continue for the next year before it would stop.

The current debt per tax payer is just shy of $113,000. We do not have the time, nor the ability to allow this to continue.

After all the applause and pomp and circumstance, it seemed as if very little was actually said, especially about how the country was doing.

Unemployment is still rising, we are approaching, what will be a devastating point in American history. The Democrats and the Republicans have grown bloated on their power and will not stop doing what they do best, ignoring the rest of us.
